Balance the natural light with the artificial light

Lighting is one of the most important elements within your living space. By having the proper amount of natural light you will be increasing your health and wellness. Using proper window coverings also help increase the natural light.

We also should pay extremely attention to blue light (coming from all electronics) because it affects our health significantly. It could gives us vitality during day hour but it could harm us during night time, it could totally disrupt our sleep patterns. Our biggest advice will be to leave all electronic devices outside your bedroom during the night hours.

 

Pay attention to colours 

Colours play a big psychological roll in our minds so in our homes or living spaces. It is true that choosing our living space colours have to do with our taste and personalities and creativity, but we most be mindful when choosing them. Colours influence our wellbeing as well as our mood. It is safe to play with neutral and natural colors, which will always give you a calming feeling. If you are looking to energize and go with red and orange colors, black will be always dramatic and blue will be cooling. Each color will always influence our emotional and mental responses.

 

Promote the power of scents

I as a designer take the power of scents very seriously depending of the outcome I want or need at the moment. You don’t need to be an expert on the matter to take advantage of essential oils that will help you with your wellness and you will get any sort of benefits out of it. There are so many benefits of using essential oils: impact the brain in a very unique way, give you energy, calm you down. My favorite wellness home tool will be the diffuser that I happen to have one in each room to help set thee different moods.

 

Declutter 

Liiving in a clutter space can cause you a lot of discomfort, anxiety, frustration and all sort of negative feelings / emotions. Try to keep your home as much as organized as possible.

 

Use indoor plants

Using plants in the interior of the space helps you improve your mood and air quality. It also helps regulate the humidity. In additions studies proof that it could also help you with your memory and concentration levels.
